Baird Venture Partners gets a new $170M fund

Baird Venture Partners, which is a life science and information tech investor has closed its third fund. At $170 million it’s over twice as large as its previous one, according to VentureWire.

This new fund is expected to dish out money to about 20 companies. Given that the fund it so much larger than its previous ones, the company should have plenty of money to spend on these companies over its deals.

Baird Venture Partners is based in Chicago, Ill.
