Solus Biosystems raises $800K for protein analysis

Solus Biosystems, a startup that’s developing a tool for protein analysis, has raised $805,000 in a first full round of funding, according to VentureWire. The money comes from individual investors, says chairman Denis Colema.

The Palo Alto, Calif. company was incorporated in 2001 and previously raised an undisclosed amount from angel backers and Authosis Ventures.
