Plusmo raises $4.41M for mobile widgets

Plusmo is a service that combines two hot fields in tech: widgets and mobile. The point is to allow you to easily put news tickers, sports scores, games an other applications on your mobile device.

There are over 20,000 widgets already on Plusmo, and you can create your own if you can’t find one you are looking for.

The Santa Clara-based service launched in June of 2006 and claims to average 10 million mobile pageviews a month. The $4.41 million Series A round was led by New Enterprise Associates, according to peHUB.
