Tehuti Networks attracts funding for 10GB controllers

Tehuti Networks is a Mountain View, Calif. company that makes 10 gigabit ethernet controllers. It says its hardware offload controllers are low-power and lower in cost compared to today’s common offload engines.

There’s been a surge of interest in 10Gbps for servers and datacenters in the past year, with a number of companies receiving funding. We’ve also recently reported fundings for Chelsio Communications and BridgeWave (here and here), and NetLogic Micro’s acquisition of Aeluros (here).

The funding, for an undisclosed amount, was reported by peHUB. The round was led by ProSeed Venture Capital Fund. It was Tehuti’s second funding.
