Fave Media raises $1.6M for local search engine

Fave Media is a local search engine based in Chicago and currently only offering listings in that city. However, it plans on rolling out its service to another major city later this year.

The site says it has about 80,000 unique visitors per month. Fave also attaches videos to some of its business listings, which it says are getting about 50,000 views per month.

The $1.6 million funding was provided by local angel investors.
