Hi, my name is Oshrit and I am working with eXelate.
Thanks for taking the time to post about eXelate -- we appreciate it! My apologies for not posting sooner.
Let me provide a clarification of what our solution does.
Let's say a website visitor visits a targeted website about Hawaii because that visitor is planning a trip to Hawaii. A few hours later, that same visitor visits a large website (Not necessarily a travel website) and sees an ad for a hotel chain in Hawaii. Through the advertising network, eXelate enables the large site to serve a relevant ad to the user through their ad network. We call this Delayed Ads. But where eXelate differs from Behavioral Targeting companies in the following ways: to ensure the user’s privacy, there is no data integration or cross-site information transfer, and user profiles are not created, as is common with most behavioral targeting networks.
I hope this helps. If anyone has any additional questions, please contact me at osh@exelate.com or check out the demo which shows how our Delayed Ads work on the eXelate Targeting eXchange: http://www.exelate.com/exelatedemo.html
