Infusion, online software for small businesses, raises $9 million
Infusion Software, like Salesforce and others, offers online business software for small businesses. It has just raised $9 million from Mohr Davidow Ventures.
The Phoenix, Arizona-based company offers a large suite of online software and services, based around its customer relationship management product and designed specifically for businesses with between two and 50 employees.
Infusion’s focus on the little guys seems to be paying off. It says it has been growing revenues at least 100 percent since 2003, and was recognized by a business software trade publication for growing revenues 125 percent in 2005-2006.
Salesforce, Infusion and other “software-as-a-service” companies want to replace businesses’ locally-based software systems normally used for organizing lists of clients, potential clients, ongoing client relationships. Their software automates data collection and organization for marketing and sales efforts within a business, without the expense and trouble of local hosting and maintenance.
