Silicon Genesis, maker of semiconductor process technology, raises $23M
Silicon Genesis Corp., a San Jose, Calif. developer of process for applying materials to substrates used in the semiconductor, display, optoelectronics and solar industries, has raised $23 million in new VC funding, according to a regulatory filing cited by PE Wire.
Backers include H&A Asia Pacific, Lake Street Capital, Riverside Management Group, Firsthand Technology Ventures, Convexa Capital Ventures and Spencer Energy AS.
Silicon Genesis has now raised more than $117 million in VC funding. This is the company’s first round since 2001, when it raised $35 million at a post-money valuation of approximately $166 million.
