F-Origin, a touch-screen technology developer for mobile devices, raises $4M+
F-Origin, an eight-year-old company in Morrisville, N.C. developing touch-screen technology for mobile devices, has raised between $4 million and $5 million in a first round of capital from Keynote Ventures.
The funding was covered by VentureWire today (sub required).
The company is still seeking money from other venture firms. It is a great time to be raising money for this technology, because presumably the iPhone’s reliance on touch-screen technology will spark a trend by other handset makers to incorporate the technology.
