Chip design simulation company, Xoomsys, raises $8M
Xoomsys, a Cupertino, Calif company that makes a product to allow simulation of dynamic coupling effects in semiconductor design, has raised $8 million in a second round of funding.
New investor DAG Ventures led the round, joined by existing investors Benchmark Capital and Morgenthaler Ventures, who had previously invested $7 million, according to VentureWire.
The funding comes shortly after Raul Camposano joins the company as chief executive. Camposano recently wrote an article for Chip Design magazine
