EcoTimber raises $4M for eco-friendly hardwood and bamboo products

EcoTimber, a San Rafael, Calif. maker of hardwood and bamboo flooring and environmentally friendly products, has raised $4 million from New West Capital Partners and Greenmont Capital Partners, both of Colorado.

The company announced its funding last week, and VentureWire followed up with specifics (sub required). The first round of financing helps it spin-out from lumber company Hayward Corp.
