Alcatel-Lucent buys NetDevices, an enterprise telecom co.

Alcatel-Lucent has agreed to acquire NetDevices, a Sunnyvale, Calif. vendor of telecom services for enterprise companies.

NetDevices has raised about $48 million in funding from investors including Artiman Ventures, Columbia Capital, ComVentures and JumpStartUp Advisors.
