Loadstar Sensors raises $5M for load sensors
LoadStar, a Mountain View company that makes load sensors that track changes in force and weight for industrial products, has raised $5 million in a second round of funding, according to Chief Executive Div Harish, cited in a VentureWire (sub required) report today.
Venture capital firms AIG SunAmerica Ventures and Needham Capital Partners invested, and a third firm may contribute an additional $2 million, Harish said.
The company announced getting $1 million last January from individuals including Jeff Drazan, of Bertram Capital, and Bill Harris, former CEO of PayPal.
