UPDATE: MI5 Networks, anti-spyware company, raises first round

MI5 Networks, a Sunnyvale provider of anti-spyware solutions, has raised Series A funding from First Round Capital, according to PE Week.

UPDATE: The above item was written on Oct. 12. Today, VentureWire reports (sub required) that this was merely an “extension” round, amount undisclosed. The company is still looking to raise $5 to $10 million in a second round later this year.
