Niveus Media, digital media storage Co., raises $ from Intel
Niveus Media, which offers digital media storage technology for the home, has raised an undisclosed amount of venture financing from Intel Capital, according to VentureWire today:
Formed in 2002, Niveus Media develops high-end media centers, storage servers and control software designed to help consumers spread their digital media across fully networked homes. The company’s products include its flagship Denali media centers, which are designed to provide integrated digital entertainment, including live and recorded television, movies, music, photos and radio.
Milpitas, Calif.-based Niveus will use the new financing to expand its product line and digital media technologies. The company will also bolster its marketing and sales efforts.
